About Me

As a licensed psychotherapist for over a decade, I bring a wealth of training and experience to guide you on your path to healing and personal growth.

I work with each person and couple in a highly personalized way to address their unique goals and needs. I incorporate various psychotherapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, internal family systems, mindfulness, and behavioral strategies. My approach with couples is also informed by my work with The Gottman Institute and Couples Institute.

In my practice, my intention is to infuse calm, openness, thoughtfulness and directness into every session. I am dedicated to creating a space where people can reconnect with themselves and figure out how to live a more satisfying life. I think there’s nothing more valuable than doing the inner work that transforms our life for the better.

Background & Training

Prior to starting private practice, I worked in various inpatient and outpatient therapeutic settings treating individuals, couples and families. I continue to stay on top of the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy and regularly engage in ongoing training, education and supervision to enhance my knowledge and provide the highest quality of care.

Some of the specific training I have completed, include: advanced psychodynamic training with the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY) affiliated with the NYU School of Medicine, intensive group psychotherapy training at Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (EGPS), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), The Gottman Method, and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. I also taught post graduate addictions courses at Adelphi University in Manhattan.

Choosing a psychotherapist is a personal decision, and I invite you to learn more about me and my approach by setting up an initial consultation.
